Avoid comparing your children to others, especially brothers. Each child is unique and individual. Celebrate their differences and instil in each child the desire to pursue their interests and dreams. Failure to do so can give your child an inferiority complex, an idea that they can never be good enough in their eyes.

Avoid favoritism. Research has shown that most parents have favorites, but most children believe they are the favorites. If your children are fighting, do not choose a side, is fair and neutral.
